The resources presented here reflect my own needs as a Tennessee title attorney, namely, quick links to the federal, state, and county resources most often used in a Tennessee land title practice.

The Federal Resources are few, (mostly access to the bankruptcy court files via Pacer), as reflects the relatively minor role that the need for federal information plays in the day to day life of a Tennessee title practitioner as compared to the need for state and local information.

Clicking the Tennessee Resources link will bring up various helpful Tennessee sites and will also reveal the heart of this website, the ninety-five* Tennessee county pages, which feature:

It is still impossible to perform a complete online title examination for most Tennessee counties. [This may come as a surprise to those out-of-state lenders who rely on "national" (i.e. India based) search services.] Therefore, most users of the site will still need to travel to the county courthouse at some point. Accordingly, I have added some links that you might find wise to check before setting out:

Finally, it is my hope that this site shall not remain static, but will increase in usefullness over time as more and more practical information is added. For that, I need help. Lots of help. I encourage (beg) visitors to offer up their comments, critcisms and suggestions. . Also, ...Where's the best place to park near your courthouse?...Where can a hungry title searcher get some biscuits and a good cup of coffee?...Does your register of deeds office have internet connections?...Wi-Fi?...Would the register's staff appreciate it if I showed up with a box of hot Krispy-Kremes under my arm or are they all on a diet?
